Position Overview

We are seeking a professional Server to join our dining service team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dining experiences through outstanding service, extensive food and beverage knowledge, and attention to detail, while maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort guests to their tables, establishing a positive first impression
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings
• Make informed recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and special requests
• Ensure proper food delivery timing and presentation
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively
• Maintain current knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
• Assist in side work duties including setup and breakdown of service areas

Required Qualifications

• Legal right to work in Turks & Caicos Islands
• Police record
• Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a full-service restaurant
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food Handler’s certification
• Alcohol service certification (if applicable)
• Proven experience with POS systems
• Excellent mathematical skills for cash handling
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hour shifts
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
