Bartender

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Craft and serve exceptional cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer according to established recipes and standards
• Develop innovative seasonal cocktails and contribute to menu development
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock management
• Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and food safety standards
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond professionally to feedback
• Maintain an immaculate, organized, and safe bar environment
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff
• Train and mentor junior bar staff and bar backs
• Implement and maintain proper sanitation procedures
• Handle guest requests and concerns with professional courtesy

Required Qualifications

• Legal right to work in Turks & Caicos Islands
• Police record
• Minimum 2 years of professional bartending experience
• Valid alcohol service certification (ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS, or equivalent)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Strong mathematical skills for cash management and inventory
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
