Housekeeper

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitization in our property. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to guest satisfaction through the maintenance of clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to established standards
• Make beds and change linens according to property protocols
• Dust, vacuum, and mop all assigned areas
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures and floors
• Restock guest room amenities and supplies
• Remove and replace used towels and bath items
• Empty trash and recyclables from rooms
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards
• Track and maintain cleaning supplies inventory
• Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
• Inspect rooms for quality assurance
• Report lost and found items according to procedures
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition
• Follow established room cleaning sequence and standards

Required Qualifications

• Legal right to work in Turks & Caicos Islands
• Police record
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
• Physical ability to perform required duties
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic English communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
• Pushing and pulling housekeeping cart
